Built over the Massachusetts Turnpike's eight lanes and two active MBTA railways, Lyrik Back Bay stands as the most significant project of its kind in Boston in over 40 years. Formerly known as Parcel 12, Lyrik has transformed from a blank slate into a vibrant anchor for Newbury Street, establishing itself as Boston's gateway.
At the heart of Lyrik is 1001 Boylston, a 450,000-square-foot lab and office space, which will house the CarGurus Global Headquarters and The LEGO Group. The development began with unveiling citizenM's largest hotel and Rivian's first Boston-based outpost. This fall, Pink Carrot and CHICHA San Chen will join the lineup. By spring 2025, Lyrik will be in full bloom with the addition of George Howell Coffee, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, and Avra Estiatorio.
